WELCOME
to the
38th Annual 8 is Enough Pool

It all began in 1987 when Rich Mauch and 5 friends thought they knew more about college basketball than anyone else and decided to test their knowledge with a unique pool around the NCAA College Basketball Tournament. It was the birth of 8 is Enough and the beginning of Mauch Madness...the most exciting 3 weeks in sports!!

39 years later, 8 is Enough is now routinely at 300+ entries but rarely are there 2 of the same entry! We know, hard to believe!

If you’ve competed for years, we assume you’re back! If you’re reading about 8 is Enough for the first time, read the rules carefully & start your guessing!

Speaking of how this game works, click on Rules and be sure you know how it works. It’s amazing how many long-time players still submit their entry wrong. However, our website program should make it easy to enter your picks, then after each round, will calculate the results.

Entries WILL ONLY be taken via the website. To participate, click on Enter Picks. No emails will be accepted...no exceptions!

Also, to avoid the time it takes to track down your payments, ALL fees must be submitted through Pay Pal.

No exceptions... because of the increased participation there is no other way to collect payment other than through Pay Pal. You DO NOT need to have a Pay Pal account to pay your entry fee but Pay Pal accounts are very much preferred to receive any possible winnings!

Click on the Pay Pal logo and follow the easy steps to submit your credit card payment. The Pay Pal site is very secure and AGAIN, you don't need to own a Pay Pal account to pay your entry fee!

Finally, 8 is Enough has been accepting an additional $5 contribution, which we have donated to various causes and charities over the years. For the 38th rendition, we are honoring my Dad, who participated in nearly every 8 is Enough! Many of you know that we lost our beloved Dad to heart failure 2 1/2 months ago. Thankfully Dad did not suffer much and we were most fortunate that he was under the extraordinary care of NYU Langone Hospital!

This years beneficiary will be the NYU Langone's Division of Cardiology. Although Dad never won a penny in 8 is Enough, contributing vital funds to support the clinical, research and educational activities will surely make him smile down on all of us!

If you have any questions, read the rules again...it’s not difficult! After each weekend, visit the website for the standings and for a notes recap.

Enjoy your 8 is Enough journey and have fun watching the Tournament!
